Position requires loading and unloading merchandise for customer deliveries, store transfers and companies merchandise pick-up and drive a box truck up to 28 feet long. t.

Responsibilities:
• Drives truck to deliver home furnishings merchandise to customer’s home of place of business.
• Records deliveries information on daily delivery record.
• Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pick up or delivery.
• Cleans inside of truck. Performs routine maintenance on truck.
• Make customer deliveries efficiently in a 45 minute time average.
• Inspect merchandise before loading in a 45 minute average.
• Unload merchandise when finish the route.
• Pick-up merchandise from companies in a 1-hour time average.
• Load merchandise for store merchandise transfers in 1 hour time average.
• Unload and unload stores transfers merchandise in a 45-minute time average.
• Work independently with minimum supervision under fast pace environment.
• Pass DANIEL'S driving test and provides licenses required.
• Responsible for efficient and safe operation of powered lift equipment.
• Maintain Daniels Home Center work areas clean and organized.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Comply with OSHA standards and company safety procedures using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) always while performing job duties.
• Load and unload merchandise safely.
• Assist in all warehouse duties as needed.
• ANY OTHER TASKS AS DIRECTED BY MANAGEMENT
