Position requires preparation of merchandise for customer deliveries, customer pick-ups and Daniels Home Center store locations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work independently with minimum supervision under fast pace environment.
• Pass forklift certification class.
• Responsible for efficient and safe operation of powered lift equipment.
• Perform visual forklift inspection daily.
• Perform writing inspection weekly.
• Efficiently Pull and prepare merchandise for shipment in a 10-minute average per order.
• Maintain Daniels Home Center work areas clean and organized.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Comply with OSHA standards and company safety procedures using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) always while performing job duties.
• Load and unload merchandise safely.
• Assist in all warehouse duties as needed.
• ANY OTHER TASKS AS DIRECTED BY MANAGEMENT
Forklift Operator Checklist Responsabilities:
• Perform Forklift Visual Inspection Every before Shift Begins. Report major forklift problems immediately to any supervisor or manager.
• Perform Forklift visual inspection and fill-out Forklift Operator’s Daily Checklist weekly. Report major forklift problems immediately to any supervisor or manager.
• Level forklift battery water every 3 days.
• Equalize forklift battery every 3 days.
• Keep Forklift clean at all times every day.
• Open containers with liquids are not allowed in the forklift.
